Establish instances for each of your organisational units that will be delivering exams.
Exams on invigilatorPlus are assigned to Departments, or the organisational unit that has ownership of an exam. Creation of Departments should be matched to the organisational structure of your organisation.
While ‘Department’ is the term used within invigilatorPlus, your institution may use different terminology, such as faculty, school, centre, org unit or division.
If your institution doesn't have smaller organisational divisions, a single, top-level department should be created.
- Select ‘Departments’ from the left-hand side menu.
- Select ‘Add Department’.
- Complete the following information:
- Department Name (required)
- Department Code
- Business Address (required)
- Postal Address
- Phone Number
- Active (checked by default)
