Sub Exams allow groups within an exam cohort to access different exam versions.
Sub Exams are useful for situations where you might have a number of groups within a cohort and each group receives different exam content. All the settings (such as Start Time and Duration) between the groups are the same, except for the exam name, which should indicate which group it applies to, and the web address (URL) pointing to the exam on your LMS.
To create a Sub Exam:
- Select ‘Exams’ from the left-hand side navigation.
- Hit the linked Exam Name to edit the settings.
- Select the Sub Exam group.
- Hit the ‘Add Sub Exam’ button.
- Enter the following details:
- Exam Name
- Exam URL: Copy/paste the web address from the LMS.
- Active: Leave checked
- Hit the ‘Save’ button.
